SUMMARY
The author of the following study discusses issues connected with stimulating the creative expression of children at early-school stage age. He presents the essence, forms and methods of the musical expression, as well as the conditions meeting of which enables its development. The aim of the work is not only to present the results of the conducted researches on the development of the creative expression of children, but as well to show the need and reason for conducting qualitative researches on the researches on the development of the creative expression of children. Due to the quality oriented approach it is possible to understand rules, processes and mechanisms of creative activity. The examples of creative musical exercises with the use of improvisational tasks in the primary school classes designed by the interviewed people in order to change the school’s educational practice may be the inspiration for conducting the qualitative researches on the creative expression of children.
