This fact leads to an intensification of the processes of scientific and technical information exchange, which actualizes the development of linguistic features of the scientific and technical branch in the process of information exchange and professional communication. In this context, modern cognitive-discursive and communicative practices have become the basis for studying the uniqueness of professional communication, its specifics, and peculiarities of connections with other spheres of human activity. This study actualized both scientific texts and scientific-technical discourse.
The basic concepts in the information and documentation discourse are the concepts “Information”, “Mystery”, “Security”, “Technology”, which are reflected in most of terminological units. They form the frame of lexical units, the nominal concepts of a particular field. Two factors play an important role in this process: the level of development of a professional language in the field of information activity and the level of language proficiency of a particular person. The research of cognitive-discursive aspect of terminological vocabulary in the information-documenting sphere can reveal the mechanism of transformation of “deep” meanings of concepts into a particular nominative unit, and opens up wide possibilities for the study of the totality of speech units, which are united by the collective sense and reflect the semantic similarity of the marked phenomena.
