Editorial Ethics

THE POLICY OF OPEN ACCESS

The journal "Naukovy Visnyk of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky: Linguistic Sciences" provides free access to its content on the following principle: free access to the research product contributes to the extension of global knowledge exchange.

The journal's content is free from charge for all users and/or their institutions. The users are allowed to read, upload, copy, distribute, print, allude to full texts of the articles or use them for any other legal purposes without the publisher's or the author's preliminary consent. It complies with the definition of open access by Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).

The journal's license: distribution is allowed while commercial usage is prohibited.  

All the parties, participating in preparing materials for publication in the journal, namely: authors, reviewers, editorial board members, should follow the standards of the publication ethics listed below.     

       The following statements submit to the ethical principles, adopted by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). In case any of the principles listed below are neglected, the journal's editorial board will follow the  instructions of the Creative Commons Attribution  International CC-BY COPE's (http://publicationethics.org).

The decision to publish

The editor-in-chief decides which of the articles sent to the editorial board should be published. The editor-in-chief is guided by the editorial board's policy and arrives at the conclusion after consulting the editorial board members and reviewers.

The fair game rules  

The editor-in-chief estimates the intellectual content of manuscripts regardless the race, sex (gender), sexual orientation, beliefs, ethnic origin, citizenship or political views of the author.     

Confidentiality

The editor-in-chief and the editorial board members are not entitled to disclose information about the sent manuscript to anyone but the author, reviewers, possible reviewers, other reviewing consultants and, if necessary, the publisher.

The information disclosure and conflict of interest

The unpublished materials used in the presented manuscript are not to be employed in the editor's, editorial board members' or reviewers' researches without the author's written consent.
