\nachievements in the field of didactic measurement and the related assessment
\nof student-student competence. Adopting the definition of knowledge as a
\nsymbolic description of the surrounding real world, it was possible to analyze the
\nrepresentation of knowledge understood as a combination of data structures and
\ninterpretative procedures enabling intelligent behavior.
\nAn important aspect of knowledge is learning and inference based on new
\nfacts, and the accumulation of knowledge is not just its accumulation, the addition
\nof new facts. The author emphasizes the role and place of evaluation in
\ncontemporary academic discourse, which Jan Grze-siak embraced with his research
\nand publications. Little space is devoted to introducing students to selfassessment
\nand assessment is also fetishized. This remark was reflected in the
\nfinal conclusions of the author of the article.<\/p>\n
